Aergo Capital acquires six A320-200 on lease to Pakistan International Airlines

Aergo Capital has announced that it has purchased six A320-200 passenger aircraft from B. aircraft A.S., an affiliate of Czech Aeroholding, through IAM Aviation Limited. The aircraft will continue to be operated by Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited on domestic and international commercial routes.

Aergo Capital’s CEO Fred Browne said, “We are delighted to close this transaction and further expand our presence in Asia. Pakistan is one of the fastest growing aviation markets in the world with an increase in both domestic travel and business activity. We are looking forward to working with PIA as the airline continues to grow its network”.

Pakistan International Airlines’ Chief Executive Officer, Bernd Hildenbrand appreciated the deal and said, “PIA would be happy to deal with a leasing company of sound international standing” and added “this will simplify the airline’s lease related procedures and make things happen faster”.
